Habitree is designed with privacy in mind. By default, all habit data is stored locally on your device. Cloud Sync is entirely optional. If you choose to enable Habitree Cloud, the information you provide is used solely to provide those services. It is never used for advertising or marketing purposes.
Overview
Habitree does not collect, store, or share your personal information by default. All of your habit data remains on your device unless you choose to enable Habitree Cloud.
Habitree contains no advertising, and your information is never sold or shared with advertisers.
Mailing List
If you choose to subscribe to our mailing list, we collect your email address in order to send occasional updates about Habitree, including major new features and important announcements. Your email address is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Habitree Cloud
Habitree Cloud is an optional feature included with Habitree Plus. It is provided by LittleFin LLC to securely back up your data and synchronize it across your devices.
The purpose of Habitree Cloud is simple: to provide backup and synchronization. Your data is never used for advertising, marketing, or profiling, and it is never sold to third parties.
By choosing to use Habitree Cloud, you agree to the collection and use of your information solely for providing the synchronization service described in this policy.
Information Collection and Use
Habitree Cloud may collect the following information in order to provide synchronization:
- Your habit data
- Your Apple account identifier
- Your name and email address, if you choose to share them through Sign in with Apple
Authentication for Habitree Cloud is provided through Sign in with Apple. We receive only the information necessary to identify your account and provide synchronization.
Third-Party Services
Habitree Cloud uses trusted third-party service providers to operate the service, including Google Firebase for secure data storage and synchronization.
These providers may process your information only as necessary to provide the service and are contractually prohibited from using it for their own marketing purposes.
Security
We value your trust and take reasonable measures to protect your information. Data transmitted through Habitree Cloud is encrypted in transit and encrypted at rest.
While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Deleting Your Data
You may stop using Habitree Cloud at any time. If you would like your cloud data permanently deleted, you can use the delete account button located in your cloud account settings in the app.
Children's Privacy
Habitree is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that such information has been collected, it will be promptly deleted. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. However, we will never change this policy in a way that allows us to use your personal information for advertising or marketing purposes, or to sell it to third parties.
